Xiaomi to officially unveil the Redmi K50 series lineup on March 17

The Vice President of Xiaomi, who also happens to be the brand manager of Redmi Lu Weibing has just officially confirmed the launch date of the company's Redmi K50 series smartphones.

According to him, the unveiling of the Redmi K50 series will take place on Thursday, March 17 which is just next week.

As usual, the launch will first take place in China before being launched for the international market. A couple of leaks have shown that the unveiling might include a regular Redmi K50 and the top of the line Redmi K50+ powered by MediaTek's Dimensity 9000 chipset.

Going by how great the Redmi K50 gaming was, many users are actually expecting a lot from the upcoming K50 smartphones. An Antutu benchmark leak showed the device reaching exactly 1,041,818 points on a combination of the CPU, GPU, memory, and user interface performance.

The full specifications and pricing are not yet available, but we only have to wait for just a week for the official unveiling to get all the full details.
