 Finally, the Xiaomi Redmi note 8 (Codename: Ginkgo) has just joined the growing list of Xiaomi Redmi smartphones receiving the latest MIUI 12 based Android 11 update. The update is currently available for Indonesia users and it is still for early MI Pilot testers.

The latest Indonesia stable MIUI 12 update for the Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 Ginkgo comes with the build version number V12.0.1.0.RCOIDXM and it is based on the new Android 11 from Google. This is still a early build, so only the beta testers will get the update for now.\

How to Manually check for MIUI 12.5 OTA update on all Xiaomi / Redmi /Poco Smartphones

• Go to settings.
• Tap on About phone >> Software Update
  

• Tap on the MIUI 11 Logo in the middle of the screen 10 times.
• After that, tap on the three dots at the top right corner of the screen.
• Tap on update settings and turn on Receive updates early.
  

• After that, Go back and tap on Check for updates.
  

• If you get No update available, then you have to either wait for the update to show up on your phone or download the ROM from the links below and follow the instructions HERE.to manually install the update.
