Xiaomi Redmi 10 Full Specification and Price in India, Malaysia, Indonesia
The Xiaomi Redmi lineup has always been known for its value for money devices. Smartphones from the Xiaomi Redmi series comes with the basic features you will expect from a regular smartphone all at a very affordable rate.
The latest addition to the Xiaomi Redmi series is the new Redmi 10. The device features a 6.5 inches LCD display with a resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels, an aspect ratio of 20:9 and pixel density of 405 ppi. The display also supports a 90Hz refresh rate as well as the regular 60Hz and a slower 45Hz for longer battery life. This is the first smartphone from the Redmi lineup with a fast refresh rate.
The phone is also powered by Mediatek latest 12nm Helio G88 chipset, making it the first smartphone to come with this new SOC from Mediatek. In term of memory, it packs a 4GB or 6GB RAM and comes with non-expandable internal storage options of either 64GB or 128GB.
The punch hole cutout in front of the new Redmi 10 houses a single 8MP sensor with f/2.0. In the back of the device is a quad camera setup which comprises of the main 50MP shooter, an 8MP 120 degrees ultrawide lens, a 2MP macro camera and a 2MP depth sensor.
The MIUI 12.5 is the latest from Xiaomi and it comes with the Redmi 10 out of the box, this is also based on Google's latest Android 11. The battery on the Redmi 10 is a large 5,000mAh with 18W fast charge to go with it. It also includes a 22.5W charger out of the box.
Some of the other features of this device includes Bluetooth 5.1, face unlock, side mounted fingerprint reader, dual speakers and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
As for pricing and availability, the phone is expected to launch on August 20 with the base model with 4GB of RAM and 64GB storage going for $180, the 4GB RAM and 128GB storage model going for $200 and the 6GB RAM / 128GB storage going for $220. For those in Malaysia, the 4/64GB will go for MYR650 while the 6/128GB model will sell for MYR 750.
