Europe (EEA) MIUI 12 (Android 11) update for Redmi Note 8 (Ginkgo) - V12.0.2.0.RCOEUXM

 The Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 (Code name: Ginkgo) was launched back then in 2019 with the Android 9.0 (Pie) out of the box. The phone received the MIUI 12 Android 10 based update last year 2020 and now the latest Google Android 11 update is currently rolling out to the device.

At the moment, the  Android 11 update for the Redmi Note 8 Ginkgo is available to European users and expected to roll out to other regions soon. The latest Europe stable MIUI 12 update for Redmi Note 8 Ginkgo comes with the build version number V12.0.2.0.RCOEUXM and it is still running on MIUI 12.

How to Manually check for MIUI 12.5 OTA update on all Xiaomi / Redmi /Poco Smartphones

• Go to settings.
• Tap on About phone >> Software Update
  

• Tap on the MIUI 11 Logo in the middle of the screen 10 times.
• After that, tap on the three dots at the top right corner of the screen.
• Tap on update settings and turn on Receive updates early.
  

• After that, Go back and tap on Check for updates.
  

• If you get No update available, then you have to either wait for the update to show up on your phone or download the ROM from the links below and follow the instructions HERE.to manually install the update.
