LineageOS v18.1 custom ROM for the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro (Whyred)

The Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro Whyred has been around since 2018 which is 3 years now and the phone is still getting a whole lot of software support, both officially from Xiaomi with its latest MIUI 12 update and from 3rd party app developers with custom ROMs and kernels.

Now, the LineageOS custom ROM for the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 and the Redmi Note 5 Pro (codename: Whyred) has now gotten a new update which is the LineageOS v18.1. This new version is based on the latest Google Android 11 operating system.

How to install LineageOS ROM on Redmi Note 5 Pro - Whyred:
Requirements:

• Twrp for Redmi Note 5 Pro (Whyred): Download Here.
• LineageOS v18.1 (Android 11) for Redmi Note 5 Pro - Whyred(GApps included): - Download Here or Here.
• Magisk: Download Here

How to Install:

• Make sure you have a Twrp recovery installed or download from the link above
• Downloaded the latest LineageOS ROM, and Magisk
• Copy all the downloaded files to your phone internal storage 
• Boot into recovery. 
• Wipe system, data, cache and Dalvik cache
• Wipe all in "Advanced Wipe except otg and sd card"
• Flash the LineageOS ROM Build
• Wipe cache/Dalvik
• Reboot to system

Note:

• If you want to root, then you can go ahead and flash Magisk "after the first boot".
