 The latest Taiwan stable MIUI 12 for the Redmi Note 9 (Codename: Merlin) has just started rolling out with the build version number V12.0.2.0.QJOTWXM. It is also still based on last year's Google Android 10 with no date on when or if it will be getting the latest Google Android 11.

The latest Taiwan stable MIUI 12 update for Redmi Note 9 Merlin comes with a couple of bug fixes and major improvements. The security patch has also been updated to the December 2020 Google Android security patch. • Go to settings.
• Tap on About phone >> Software Update
  

• Tap on the MIUI 11 Logo in the middle of the screen 10 times.
• After that, tap on the three dots at the top right corner of the screen.
• Tap on update settings and turn on Receive updates early.
  

• After that, Go back and tap on Check for updates.
  

• If you get No update available, then you have to either wait for the update to show up on your phone or download the ROM from the links below and follow the instructions HERE.to manually install the update.
