 For users of the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 in Indonesia, also known as the Redmi 10x 4G (Codename: Merlin). A new Indonesia stable MIUI 12 version has just started gradually rolling out to all users. If you own the Redmi Note 9, then you might have already gotten the OTA notification.

The Indonesia stable MIUI 12 update is currently being rolled out with the build version number V12.0.4.0.QJOIDXM and it is based on Google Android 10. There are a couple of bug fixes included in this new update as well as the December 2020 Google Android security patch.

How to Manually check for MIUI 12 OTA update on your Xiaomi phone

• Go to settings.
• Tap on About phone >> Software Update
  

• Tap on the MIUI 11 Logo in the middle of the screen 10 times.
• After that, tap on the three dots at the top right corner of the screen.
• Tap on update settings and turn on Receive updates early.
  

• After that, Go back and tap on Check for updates.
  

• If you get No update available, then you have to either wait for the update to show up on your phone or download the ROM from the links below and follow the instructions HERE.to manually install the update.
