Download EEA (Europe) stable MIUI 12 for Redmi 8a (Olive) [V12.0.1.0.QCPEUXM]

 The Xiaomi Redmi 8a (Codename: Olivelite) is not also left out in the recent MIUI 12 update roll out by Xiaomi. Xiaomi recently updated the Redmi 7 (Onc) and the Redmi 8 (Olive) to the latest MIUI 12. Now, the update has also started rolling out to the European version of the Redmi 8a.

The EEA (Europe) stable MIUI 12 update for the Redmi 8a is currently rolling out with the build version number V12.0.1.0.QCPEUXM. The new update is based on Google Android 10 and it comes with the December 2020 Android security patch.

• New: Swipe down from the upper left corner to open Notification shade and from the upper right corner to open Control center
• Optimization: Control center is now closed by incoming calls
• Optimization: Control center layout in landscape mode
• Fix: Control center wasn't always displayed correctly in landscape mode

Dark mode

• Optimization: Brightness and color improvements for wallpapers in Dark mode

Status bar, Notification shade

• Fix: Notification shade wasn't displayed correctly in Dark mode

  

How to Manually check for MIUI 11 OTA update on your Xiaomi phone

• Go to settings.
• Tap on About phone >> Software Update
  

• Tap on the MIUI 11 Logo in the middle of the screen 10 times.
• After that, tap on the three dots at the top right corner of the screen.
• Tap on update settings and turn on Receive updates early.
  

• After that, Go back and tap on Check for updates.
  

• If you get No update available, then you have to either wait for the update to show up on your phone or download the ROM from the links below and follow the instructions HERE.to manually install the update.
