Xiaomi Redmi 9 Power full specification and price in India, Europe, US
After the long wait and all the teasers from Xiaomi, the company has finally launched its much anticipated Redmi 9 Power. Just like we have expected, this is yet another rebranding of an already existing Xiaomi phone with a new name and in this case, it has the same spec and design as the Poco M3 and the Redmi Note 9 4G which was recently launched in China.
The Redmi 9 Power comes with a 6.53-inch Full HD IPS LCD display with a resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels, and a 19.5:9 display ratio. The phone runs on Xiaomi's latest MIUI 12 Android skin which is based on Google's Android 10 from last year. The device might however be getting an Android 11 update in the nearest future.
Powering the Xiaomi Redmi 9 Power is Qualcomm's mid-range Snapdragon 662 chipset coupled with a 4GB RAM. It is available in two storage options of 64GB and 128GB, both of which can be expanded with up to 512GB capacity MicroSD card through the dedicated SDCard slot.
As for the camera, the phone comes with a quad rear camera setup which comprises of a 48MP primary sensor, an 8MP ultrawide lens, a 2MP depth sensor and a 2MP macro lens. And in the front is a single 8MP front facing shooter which is housed in the hole punch cutout.
The Redmi 9 Power features a massive 6,000mAh battery with support for up to 18W fast charging, even thought the phone includes a 22W charging brick. It comes with a 3.5mm headphone jack, Bluetooth 5.0, an IR blaster, a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, face unlock, and stereo speakers.
As for the pricing and availability, the Redmi 9 Power has already gone on sale starting from December 22nd with a starting price of INR10,999 ($150/€120) for the 4/64GB variant and INR11,999 ($164/€131) for the 4/128GB variant, The phone is available in Blazing Blue, Electric Green, Fiery Red, and Might Black color options.
