 The Poco X2 NFC (Codename: Surya) is one of the latest addition to the Poco smartphone lineup. The device was launched in November of 2020 which is just about 3 months ago. Although there are already a couple of official custom ROMs for the Poco X2 NFC, there isn't an official Twrp custom recovery yet.

The good news however is that popular XDA developer who goes by the name mauronofrio has already ported a compatible Twrp recovery for the Poco X2 NFC Surya. This latest version is based on TWRP 3.5.0 with all the available features you will expect from this version.

Twrp is currently the most popular and arguably the best custom recovery for Android devices. It is an open source touch-based custom recovery which is built with a whole lot of focus on customization as well as ease of use. How to Install Twrp Recovery on Poco X3 NFC (Surya)

How to Flash/Install Twrp recovery on Poco X3 NFC (Surya)

• Make sure your bootloader is unlocked or click on this LINK for guide
• Install fastboot/ADB driver on your PC by clicking on this LINK
• Download the Twrp from this LINK or the link provided above 
• Rename the downloaded twrp image to twrp.img
• Copy the downloaded Twrp file to any folder on your PC.
• Inside the folder, hold down your shift key and right click on an empty space inside the folder.
• Select Open command window here from the menu options.
• Go to phone settings >> About >> Tap MIUI version 7 times
• Go back to phone settings >> Additional settings >> Developer options >> Enable Developer options.
• Connect your phone to your PC.
• Then enter the command below and hit the enter key to reboot to fastboot mode

            adb reboot bootloader

                                OR


• Turn off your phone and reboot into fastboot mode manually by holding down the power button + volume down.
• Input the command below and hit the Enter key to flash Twrp on your phone

            fastboot flash recovery twrp.img

• After Installation, enter the command below to reboot your phone to recovery.

            fastboot boot twrp.img
