 The Xiaomi Redmi 9, also known as the Redmi 9 Prime (Codename: Lancelot) has now joined the list of Xiaomi smartphones receiving the latest MIUI 12 update, The Indonesia stable version of the MIUI 12 has just started rolling out to Redmi 9 / 9 Prime in the country.

The new Indonesia stable MIUI 12 update for the Redmi 9 Lancelot comes with the build version number V12.0.1.0.QJCIDXM and it is based on Google's last year Android 10. Aside all the new standard MIUI 12 features, a couple of optimization as well as new features have been included in this update.

How to Manually check for MIUI 12 OTA update on your Xiaomi phone

• Go to settings.
• Tap on About phone >> Software Update
  

• Tap on the MIUI 11 Logo in the middle of the screen 10 times.
• After that, tap on the three dots at the top right corner of the screen.
• Tap on update settings and turn on Receive updates early.
  

• After that, Go back and tap on Check for updates.
  

• If you get No update available, then you have to either wait for the update to show up on your phone or download the ROM from the links below and follow the instructions HERE.to manually install the update.
