Xiaomi to launch 5G Redmi Note 9 series smartphones soon

 Earlier this year, Xiaomi released the Redmi Note 9 line-up which consists of the Redmi Note 9, Note 9S and the Redmi Note 9 Pro. Now, there are a lot of rumours and speculations flying around that Xiaomi might be planning on releasing three new devices to the Redmi NOTE 9 SERIES.

Now, Xiaomi has just confirmed via a Weibo post that fans should be expecting three new Redmi Note 9 smartphones which will most likely be the Redmi Note 9 5G and the Redmi Note 9 Pro 5G. This will be the first set of 5G phones from the Redmi brand.

The new upcoming Redmi Note 9 Pro 5G is expected to be a rebranded Xiaomi Mi 10T Lite powered  by a Snapdragon 750G chipset. The Redmi Note 9 Pro is also expected to come with a 6.67-inch IPS LCD display with a 120Hz refresh rate and also a pretty large 4820mAh battery capacity.

The much cheaper Redmi Note 9 is expected to be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 800U chipset, coupled with a 5,000mAh capacity battery. The display is rumoured to be a 6.53-inch IPS LCD display with a regular 60Hz refresh rate.

This new phones are expected to be officially launched in China on November 26 and they will be available in gray-violet and sky blue color options. More details on both devices including the pricing will definitely be announced on the launch date.
