 The Russian version of the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 (Codename: Merlin) has also just received a new MIUI 12 based update. This update is already available for both the Russian as well as the India version of the device. It comes with a couple of new features and updated Android security patch.

The latest Russia stable MIUI 12 update for Redmi Note 9 comes with the build version number V12.0.3.0.QJORUXM. It  is based on Google Android 10 and it comes with the latest Google's November 2020 Android security patch. Below is the full changelog.

How to Manually check for MIUI 12 OTA update on your Xiaomi phone

• Go to settings.
• Tap on About phone >> Software Update
  

• Tap on the MIUI 11 Logo in the middle of the screen 10 times.
• After that, tap on the three dots at the top right corner of the screen.
• Tap on update settings and turn on Receive updates early.
  

• After that, Go back and tap on Check for updates.
  

• If you get No update available, then you have to either wait for the update to show up on your phone or download the ROM from the links below and follow the instructions HERE.to manually install the update.
