Global Redmi 9 (Lancelot) MIUI 12 (Android 10) update - V12.0.1.0.QJCMIXM

 Finally, the Xiaomi Redmi 9 with the codename: Lancelot has now joined the list of Xiaomi smartphones running on the latest MIUI 12 custom Android skin which was launched earlier this year. At the moment, this new MIUI 12 is available for Global Redmi 9 users but expected to roll out to every other region soon.

The new Global stable MIUI 12 for the Xiaomi Redmi 9 Lancelot comes with the software build version number V12.0.1.0.QJCMIXM. This new update is based on Google Android 10 and it also includes the latest November 2020 Google Android security patch.

How to Manually check for MIUI 12 OTA update on your Xiaomi phone

• Go to settings.
• Tap on About phone >> Software Update
  

• Tap on the MIUI 11 Logo in the middle of the screen 10 times.
• After that, tap on the three dots at the top right corner of the screen.
• Tap on update settings and turn on Receive updates early.
  

• After that, Go back and tap on Check for updates.
  

• If you get No update available, then you have to either wait for the update to show up on your phone or download the ROM from the links below and follow the instructions HERE.to manually install the update.
