A new update with the build version number V12.0.8.0.QCDINXM has just been released. This new MIUI 12 Android 10 for Redmi 9a / 9T comes with the latest January 2021 Android security patch, 

A new version of MIUI 12 has just started rolling out for Redmi 9A / 9T (Dandelion) users in India. This is just a very small update over the previous version as it only includes just an updated android security patch compared to the previous version.

The latest India stable MIUI 12 update for Redmi 9A is based on Google Android 10 with the build version number V12.0.6.0.QCDINXM, now V12.0.8.0.QCDINXM.  This new update comes with the latest October 2020 Google Android security patch. Below is the changelog and download links.

How to Manually check for MIUI 12 OTA update on your Xiaomi phone

• Go to settings.
• Tap on About phone >> Software Update
  

• Tap on the MIUI 11 Logo in the middle of the screen 10 times.
• After that, tap on the three dots at the top right corner of the screen.
• Tap on update settings and turn on Receive updates early.
  

• After that, Go back and tap on Check for updates.
  

• If you get No update available, then you have to either wait for the update to show up on your phone or download the ROM from the links below and follow the instructions HERE.to manually install the update.
