Download Global stable MIUI 11(Android 10) update for Redmi 9 / 9 Prime (Lancelot) [V11.0.8.0.QJCMIXM]

 The Global stable MIUI 11 based Android 10 has also started rolling out for the Global users of the Redmi 9 / 9 Prime (Codename: Lancelot). Even though many other Xiaomi smartphones are already receiving the new MIUI 12 based update, the Redmi 9 Prime is still one of the few phones yet to receive the update.

The new Global stable MIUI 11 for Redmi 9 Prime comes with the build version number V11.0.8.0.QJCMIXM. This new update comes with the latest September 2020 Android security patch, it also includes a couple of camera improvements.

How to Manually check for OTA update on your Redmi Device
Not all Redmi users are getting the new MIUI 11 update yet. You can however still check to know if the update is available for your own device yet by following the instruction below.

• Go to settings.
• Tap on About phone >> System update.
  

• click on Check for updates.
• Go to settings.
• Tap on About phone >> Software Update

• Tap on the MIUI 11 Logo in the middle of the screen 10 times.
• After that, tap on the three dots at the top right corner of the screen.
• Tap on update settings and turn on Receive updates early.
  
• After that, Go back and tap on Check for updates.
  
  
  
• If you get No update available, then you have to either wait for the update to show up on your phone or try other available methods below or download the ROM from the links below and follow the instructions HERE to manually install the update.
