A couple of users have already started receiving the OTA update which weighs in at around 538MB in size. The MIUI 12 update for Merlin comes with the version number V12.0.1.0.QJOINXM and it is based on the Google Android 10 operating system.

How to Manually check for Android 10 OTA update on your Redmi Note 9
Since this is a gradual phased update, there will definitely be delays before it gets to all users. You can however still check to know if the update is available for your own device yet by following the instruction below.
- Go to settings.
- Tap on About phone >> System update.
- click on Check for updates.
- If you get No update available, then you have to either wait for the update to show up on your phone or download the ROM from the links below and follow the instructions HERE.to manually install the update.
