 While many other Xiaomi smartphones are being updated to the new MIUI 12 Android skin, a couple of devices are still stuck on last year's MIUI 11 and one of them is the Mi 9 SE (Codename: Grus). A new update is currently rolling out for the Xiaomi Mi 9 SE.

The latest EEA stable MIUI 11 update for the Mi 9 SE has the software version number V11.0.9.0.QFBEUXM and it is also still based on Android 10, The main change in this new update is the security patch which has been updated to June 2020 Google Android security patch.

How to Manually check for OTA update on your Mi 9 SE
The update is currently rolling out via OTA, but it might not be available for all users yet. You can however still check to know if the update is available for your own device yet by following the instruction below.

• Go to settings.
• Tap on About phone >> System update.
  

• click on Check for updates.
  
• If you get No update available, then you have to either wait for the update to show up on your phone or download the ROM from the links below and follow the instructions HERE.to manually install the update.
