Xiaomi has now sold over 30 million Redmi Note 8 devices

The Xiaomi Redmi Note series has always been among the most successful and best selling of all Xiaomi devices and this is mainly due to how it offers a very affordable price point with pretty great specifications.

The Redmi Note 7 enjoyed a very successful year and the Note 8 family is not any different. 

Redmi's brand manager Lu Weibing recently announced that the company has managed to sell over 30 million units of the Redmi Note 8 devices since its launch. This includes the Redmi Note 8, Note 8T and the Redmi Note 8 Pro. The phone was also among the top 10 best selling smartphones in Q4 of 2019.

Redmi managed to sell 1 million units of the Redmi Note 8 series in the first month of its launch and this number went up to 5  million in the second month. The number has now gone up to over 30 million units in just about 6 months.

Xiaomi has now sold more Redmi Note 8 devices that it did the Redmi Note 7. The Redmi Note 7 which had a very successful year managed to go over 20 million units. Now Xiaomi is gearing up for the Redmi Note 9 which is the successor of the Redmi Note 8.
