The Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 (codename: ginkgo) is pretty much still a very new smartphone but the good news is that we already have a GCam version that works very well with it. The Redmi Note 8 comes with a Quad-camera setup which comprises of a primary 48MP lens with F/1.8, an 8MP F/2.2 ultra-wide camera, a 2MP macro lens and a 2MP depth sensor. In the front is a single 13MP selfie camera.

The latest PMGC_7.0.009_PopugVersion_V11_1 by Parrot043 work very well with the Redmi Note 8 with all the GCam 7 features also working. The stock camera no doubt delivers good pictures, but with GCam, you pretty much get better shots. GCam offers features like HDR+, portrait mode, motion photos, panorama, lens blur, 60fps video, slow motion, and more.
