How to install Pixel Experience (Android 10) custom ROM for Redmi Note 7 Pro (Violet)

The Redmi Note 7 Pro (Codename: Violet) is a mid-range affordable smartphone from Xiaomi's sub-brand Redmi. It is powered by Qualcomm's snapdragon 675 chipset with up to 6GB RAM and 128GB storage. The phone was launched with Xiaomi's own MIUI skin based on Android 9.0 Pie.

Even though there is no official Android 10 update for the Redmi Note 7 Pro yet, there are a couple of custom ROMs based on the latest Android Q OS and one of them is the pixel experience. The latest official build of Pixel Experience for Redmi Note 7 Pro (Violet) comes with a couple of new features and bug fixes.

Pixel experience custom is an AOSP (Android Open Source Project) based ROM. It has a very similar UI to that of the Google Pixel smartphones. It also comes with some Pixel features like the ringtones, animation, wallpapers, themes and many more.

How to install:

• Make sure you have a Twrp custom recovery installed or download below
• Download the ROM, and firmware from the link below  
• Boot into recovery. 
• Wipe system, data, cache and Dalvik cache
• Flash the new firmware
• Flash the latest ROM build 
• Don,t flash GApps (already included)
• If you want to root then you can go ahead and flash Magisk
• Reboot to system
