Pixel Experience Android 10 for Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro (Whyred) - Download and Install guide

Even though there is no official Android 10 update for the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 and there is also no hope of one being released in the future, the latest Pixel Experience custom ROM for Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro is based on the Android 10 which is a plus for Whyred users.

Pixel experience is an AOSP based custom with very minimalist design.It gives users the closest experience to Google Pixel. It offers users proper optimization and RAM management. It comes pre-installed with Google apps (Gapps) and all Pixel goodies such as launcher, wallpapers, icons, fonts, boot-animation and many more.

• Clean flash is mandatory
• Current issues:
• If you enable "Ok Google" or "Hey google" hotword, your microphone won't work on 3rd apps.
• Very rare UI freezes
• For magisk use latest canary version

How to install:

• Make sure you have a Twrp custom recovery installed or download below
• Download the ROM, and firmware from the link below  
• Boot into recovery. 
• Wipe system, data, cache and Dalvik cache
• Flash the new firmware
• Flash the latest ROM build 
• Don,t flash GApps (already included)
• If you want to root then you can go ahead and flash Magisk
• Reboot to system
