Download and Install MIUI 11 China Beta for Redmi Note 7 (Lavender) (v9.9.25 / v9.9.26)

The China beta version of the MIUI 11 has already started rolling out to all eligible devices and one of them is the Redmi Note 7 (Codename: Lavender). This is still a beta version which means there will most likely be bugs. You can however install the ROM on both the China and Global Xiaomi devices.

MIUI is xiaomi's own heavily modded version of Android which comes with a more pleasing User Interface and a whole lot of features that are not available on the Stock version of Android. The new MIUI 11 is based on the latest Android 10 with a couple of improvements and new features like the new System-Wide dark mode,

Note: Only install the v9.9.26 if you are upgrading from v9.9.25. If you are coming from MIUI 10 then just Install the Recovery version.

How to Install the recovery update

• Make sure you have a Twrp custom recovery installed or download HERE
• Download the ROM from the link above  
• Boot into recovery. 
• Wipe system, data, cache and Dalvik cache
• Flash the latest ROM build 
• Download and flash GApps from this LINK
• If you want to root then you can go ahead and flash Magisk
• Reboot to system

How to Install the OTA update

• Go to your phone's setting and click on About phone
• Click on System update and then click on the three dots at the top right corner
  

• Navigate to the folder where you saved the recovery zip file and select it
• Your phone will verify the file and ask you to confirm afterwards
• After confirmation, it will reboot and automatically install the update
