Xiaomi to officially launch the Mi 9t Pro (Redmi K20 Pro) in Europe on August 20
The Xiaomi K20 Pro is the first flagship smartphone to be launched by Xiaomi's new sub brand Redmi. The device is referred to as the flagship killer due to it's premium design and flagship specifications all at an affordable price.
Xiaomi is however expected to launch the global version of the smartphone in Europe, starting with the Benelux markets - Belgium, the Netherlands, and Luxembourg. Just like the Redmi K20 which is also called the Mi 9t, the global version of the Redmi K20 Pro will be known as the Mi 9t Pro. Both phones will come with exactly the same design and specifications except for few changes in the Operating System (OS).
The Redmi K20 Pro is powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 855 chipset coupled with a FHD+ Amoled display with a resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels and an aspect ratio of 19.5:9. It also sports an under-display fingerprint reader and runs on MIUI 10 which is based on Android 9.0 Pie.
The phone has a 4,000mAh battery and supports fast charging of up to 27Watts. As far as pricing and availability goes, customers will be able to get the phone in two different memory configurations which are 6GB of RAM and 64GB of storage for €429, while the 6GB RAM and 128GB storage for €479. The phone will be available starting from August 20.
