Xiaomi will officially announce the Mi A3 on July 17

The third generation of Xiaomi's Android One Mi A series smartphones which are the MI A3 and the Mi A3 Pro will be officially announced on July 17. This was confirmed in a recent tweet posted on Xiaomi's official Twitter page.

Going by all the leaks and rumours we have seen so far, the Mi A3 and the Mi A3 Pro will be the global version of the Xiaomi Mi CC9e and the Mi CC9 respectively which were both recently launched in China. The phones will have the same design and specifications with the only difference being that the Mi A3 will run on Google's stock Android one program instead of Xiaomi's MIUI skin.

We however don't know what the pricing will be like as the tweet didn't mention anything about that, they were however teasers which suggest that this upcoming MI A3 series will have better performance, in-screen fingerprint reader, an Amoled display and bigger battery life compared to last year's Mi A2.
