Xiaomi to officially launch the Redmi K20 and Redmi K20 Pro in India on July 17

Xiaomi has just announced via an official twitter account and also on it's own website that the Redmi K20 and the Redmi K20 Pro will be officially launched in India on July 17. The phone which was initially launched in China last month has since been getting a lot of positive remarks and sold over 1 million units in just 8 days.

Both the Redmi K20 and the K20 pro both feature a notchless and bezeless 6.39-inch Full HD Amoled display with a resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels and an aspect ration of 19.5:9. Both phones also comes with the same triple rear camera setup and a single front facing camera hidden in a pop-up mechanism.

The K20 pro is powered by Qualcomm's snapdragon 855 chipset while the much cheaper Redmi K20 is powered by Snapdragon 730 chipset with both phones running on the latest Xiaomi's MIUI 10 which is based on Android 9.0 Pie. The official price of the two phones will be announced at the launch event in India on 17th of July 2019.
