How to root Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 (Lavender) without PC
Rooting isn't as popular as it use to be before as many Android users don't even bother to root their phone anymore. This is because many more features are now available on Android by default. Gone are those days when rooting was very difficult and technical, this days you can just install TWRP or any other custom recovery on your phone then go ahead and flash Magisk zip file on your phone and the phone is rooted. In this post, I will explain in details how to root your Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 (Lavender).
Requirements:
> Unlocked bootloader: Check out the guide HERE.
>TWRP: Check the procedure HERE.
> Magisk Manager: Download HERE.
> Magisk.zip: Download HERE.
> DM Verity disabler: Download HERE.
How to root your Redmi Note 7:
> Make sure your bootloader is unlocked and you have TWRP recovery installed (Check the procedure above)
> Download the Magisk manager and install it on your phone.
> Now download Magisk.zip and DM Verity disabler then copy it directly into your phone's internal storage.
> Turn off and reboot your phone into recovery by holding down the power button and volume up at the same time.
> Click on install and select the Magisk Zip file you copied earlier.
> Swipe to the right to install.
> Go back to recovery again and click on install.
> Select DM Verity disabler and swipe right to install.
> Reboot your phone once the installation is completed.
> You can download Root Checker app from playstore to check if your phone is rooted.
